We’re thrilled that Ken joined our Advisory Board, and do we have plans to put his 20+ years of International Financial Services experience to work! Ken’s lived and worked in over 15 countries, so I’d say “international” is an understatement. As Head of Mastercard Labs, he’s driving innovation that’s core to their business and product development.
This is yet another great outcome from our relationship with Mastercard which started a couple years ago as a fintech participant in Mastercard Start Path. We were selected to join their program that supports later-stage startups who are reshaping the future of finance and commerce.
This Start Path experience led to a partnership with Mastercard and the pilot of Mastercard KAI, powered by KAI Banking, our conversational AI platform. Mastercard KAI is a bot for banks that allows consumers to fulfill requests and solve problems about their finances via Facebook Messenger. Mastercard expects that consumers – especially millennials – will enjoy the intuitiveness of finding out how much they’ve spent on food this month or when their phone bill is due within seconds of messaging the bot.
