Keelan has over 15 years of experience as a researcher in natural language processing and AI. He has been awarded 11 patents and has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles on natural language understanding, voice biometrics, and automated speech scoring. Before joining Kasisto, he led a team of research scientists and engineers at Educational Testing Service, who developed innovative, machine learning-based applications for the educational technology domain. Keelan holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Linguistics and Classical Languages from the University of California, Berkeley; he is a Senior Member of the IEEE Association of technical professionals.
