This position
We are looking for a talented and experienced VP of Solutions Delivery to help us build a world-class solutions delivery organization from the ground up. The VP of Solutions is responsible for the recruiting, management, and career development of implementation staff including solution architects, software, and DevOps engineers, QA analysts, AI interaction designers as well as project managers.  He or she is also responsible for ensuring quality services delivery in customer engagements worldwide, and for revenue growth of new services and license business opportunities for the KAI product line.  This position will be responsible for developing delivery methodologies and best practices as well as leading and designing training and implementation programs for our customers and partners.  In this role, the VP of Solutions will also be responsible working with system integrators and other implementation partners to help deploy and integrate KAI.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage the P&L to meet revenue, expense and margin targets
  • Drive revenue growth through exceptional service that consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations
  • Recruit, lead and grow the global solutions team
  • Develop and maintain world-class consulting processes
  • Collaborate with VP of Sales on development of standard service packages as well as account prioritization, planning, and forecasting
  • Provide support, both tactical and strategic, in achieving company sales quota
  • Develop, support and implement best practices and delivery methodologies
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams on design, development, and deployment of Kasisto’s KAI products
  • Establish measurable team and individual goals, metrics and performance standards to ensure focus, accountability and exceptional client outcomes
  • Maintain relationships with integration partners and provide training to their implementation staff
  • Create and implement the process and practices of a professional management organization

What you need for this position

  • 5+ years of consulting and consulting management experience with enterprise software
  • 3+ years of experience managing all aspects of a services business and P&L management
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and manage technical personnel and processes associated with enterprise software sales and service
  • Demonstrated experience with professional services at a large consulting firm or running a consulting line of service as part of a software company
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, develop and retain project-based employees
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, and ability to play a trusted advisor role to senior-level customer executives to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
  • Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead processes and people, fostering an environment that promotes creativity and innovation
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with agile methodology
  • Bachelors or MS Degree in relevant filed; MBA preferred

What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a hands-on leader who is comfortable with both technical and managerial responsibilities.  You will be leading a team of engineers as well as the agile development process for our multi‐modal conversational AI platform. It will be part of the entire sprint process including planning, building product roadmaps, running daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as well as delegating, mentoring and performing code reviews.  Candidates should be as comfortable managing processes and people as they are reading and writing code.

Reporting Directly to the CTO, you will be helping solve deep technical issues while managing a group of engineers across multiple disciplines including, Data Science / Machine Learning, Natural Language Understanding, Java Development, Mobile Development, QA and DevOps. You will be working closely with Senior Management, Product Management, Software Engineering and QA to ensure consistent, successful sprints so that continuous development and delivery is taking place. This will require working to reduce blocking issues for the team members as well as being able to roll-up ones’ sleeves and contribute to solutions.  This is a unique ground floor opportunity for the right person to make an impact, grow professionally and be part of a fast-moving startup.

What you need for this position
• 5+ Year’s experience as a Software Development VP / Director
• Strong familiarity with Agile / Scrum Development process
• Demonstrable Object Oriented Design and development experience ideally using Java
• NLP/NLU experience is a huge plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience managing numerous complex parallel software development projects
• Proven ability to work with software engineers to estimate work and schedules by asking questions, analyzing data, and challenging assumptions

Senior Product Manager

This position
We are looking for a technical Senior Product Manager to help us bring the next generation of conversational AI to market.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with Customers, Project Managers, Engineering team and other stakeholders to define priorities, build roadmaps and timelines, and ensure product delivery
  • Create, prioritize, and design new product features
  • Take a holistic approach and oversee the UX for KAI-powered virtual assistants and smart bots

This Position
This is a unique ground-floor opportunity to be the “first” sales engineer in Kasisto NYC! We expect you to be a technical thought leader and a partner to the sales rep. You’ll drive all the technical activities that will be needed throughout the sales cycle, from targeting through closing and expansion. You’ll build highly engaging demos and assist in scoping pilots and production deployments of the Kasisto solution for Conversational AI.
